Spelling rules for he/she/it:
- most verbs take -s (likes)
- verbs ending in -ch, -sh, -ss,- x take -es (finishes)
- verbs ending in consonant + -y → y+ies (cry → cries)
- irregular forms: has [hæz], goes [ɡəʊz], does [dʌz].
